Each term is 10-11 weeks in length. 4 terms per year. Minimum enrollment of one term. |
| Lessons per week |
- 18 - 21 class hours per week, including 12 - 15 hours of core language skills development and 3 - 6 hours of electives.
- Students also spend at least 2 hours per week in the Conversant Program.
- In addition, students are expected to engage in at least 20 hours of directed study outside the classroom in research projects, group projects, learning center activities and daily preparation for classes.

- Successful completion of academic English level 4 or higher (must pass ALL classes) or
- score 5.5 or higher on the IELTS exam or
- score 60 iBT or 500 PBT on the TOEFL exam.

AN INTENSIVE ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSE
The Academic English program is a rigorous and intensive program designed to prepare students for entry to university study. The program will help you learn necessary study skills and develop English language proficiency.
