To apply for your INTO course, follow this simple guide.
Step 1
Send the completed application package (found at the back of each INTO Centre’s brochure), including supporting documents, to your INTO representative, or to:

You can also apply online – simply go to your chosen INTO Centre’s home page on this website and click the ‘apply’ button.
For academic programmes (eg Foundation, Diploma and Graduate Diploma) and English language courses, the application package must include:
- a completed application form, signed by the student applicant or the legal guardian
- copy(ies) of relevant academic certificate(s) and English language certificates together with transcript(s) in English, or a certified English translation.*
*Translated copies may be certified by the following authorities:
- the official records department of the issuing institution
- a justice of the peace or public notary
- an authorised INTO education agent or representative
- a British diplomatic mission overseas
- the British Council.
The INTO Admissions office will only process complete applications.
Step 2
If the application is successful, you will receive:
- an offer of a place indicating the course of study offered
- an acceptance form
- if applicable, confirmation of accommodation requested
- confirmed course dates
- ‘Under 18 years old’ information pack (if applicable).
Step 3
To confirm your place at your chosen INTO Centre you should then sign and return the acceptance form together with:
- the tuition deposit (to be deducted from the balance of fees) or full tuition fees (if lower than £1,000)
- an accommodation deposit of £1000 (to be deducted from the balance of accommodation fees) or the full accommodation fees, if lower than £1000 (if applicable)
- EITHER the Uniplan Insurance fee (you must already have completed and sent the online application form as described in your offer letter), OR evidence of an alternative accident and medical insurance policy.
Once payment has been received you will be issued with the following documentation to support the UK student visa application:
- confirmation of enrollment letter
- visa support letter
- Uniplan Insurance policy document (if applicable)
- an invoice and financial statement
- English language level letter (if applicable).
Step 4
You should then obtain your visa, pay the fee balance by the given deadline, and give your flight details to your INTO Centre’s admissions department.
If you pay full fees for at least three terms on an academic preparation programme or English for Undergraduate or Postgraduate Study course, at latest four weeks before the first course start date, you will receive a discount of £500 to the total due. This will be shown in your invoice. For full details please see the terms and conditions page at the back of your Centre’s brochure.
Step 5
Once your INTO Centre has received full payment, you will receive confirmation of accommodation details, airport pick-up arrangements (if applicable) and a pre-departure guide.
Please note, the deposit for your tuition and accommodation fees will reserve you an academic place and your accommodation up until four weeks before your course starts. If you do not pay your balance by this date, we reserve the right to cancel both.
If you are confirming less than four weeks before your course start date, you will need to pay full fees to confirm your academic place and accommodation.
Payment of deposit, tuition and accommodation fees
INTO recommends that the payment of all fees is made in pounds sterling via Telegraphic Transfer (TT) and marked with the student’s reference number (as shown on the offer letter and confirmation of enrolment document) and name as shown on their passport. Full fees must be paid at least four weeks prior to the commencement of the course.
Your INTO Centre’s bank details can be found on your application form.
For full details of what INTO course and accommodation fees cover Centre to Centre, please consult your application form.
Uniplan Insurance for international students
Uniplan Insurance is a comprehensive insurance policy prepared especially for international students in the UK.
Full medical and travel insurance is mandatory for all INTO students, and Uniplan Insurance will automatically be added to your course fees unless proof of suitable alternative cover is provided.
Please supply details of travel arrangements so Uniplan cover can be arranged to include travel to the UK. If you do not know your flight details at the time of paying your insurance premium, INTO will arrange cover to start one week before the start of your course and end one week after the end of your course.
